Technical Surveillance Countermeasures A surveillance countermeasures "sweep" is a mult-faceted project. A vulnerability/risk assessment, followed by an 'on-sight' view of the location provides some idea of what is to be protected and from whom. Post assessment, 'detection' operations commence. Following a 'detection' activity, clear preventative protocols are given by the TSCM specialist to decrease the likelihood of a future intrusion or device installation. Where appropriate, and on-sight monitoring system or 'shielded room' may be recommended. |
